No Snow Shovels!

A client of ours hailing from Buffalo, New York, reportedly drove south until he found a place that couldn’t identify his snow shovel. Not surprisingly, he is happily living the good life here on Oak Island, North Carolina, enjoying the very mild winters, the change of seasons, and the ability to walk on the beach almost every day. As you can imagine, it’s a familiar tale because many residents have relocated to the area with no regrets over leaving their snow shovels behind. They now enjoy time on the beach with their families. And the only shovel in sight belongs to a colorful sand pail. When you consider the next phase of your life, think about whether you’d rather be shoveling snow or making sand castles and memories with your grandchildren.
What about a No Snow Shovels Logo?
We have jokingly thought that we should change our logo to a snow shovel in a big red circle with a line through it. Can’t you just picture it? It would be similar to the famous no smoking signs. All joking aside, there is so much more to living here than just good weather, but that sure is a good place to start. Since the weather is splendid, the beach lifestyle, golf lifestyle, and creative haven that shape the way of life in Oak Island and Southport are yours for the taking. It’s easy to relax, recreate, and participate in your community when the weather is cooperative. The active adult lifestyle in small-town America is alive and well in southeastern North Carolina.
